When I think of socks, I usually think of my thick bed socks I throw on in winter just for the purpose of keeping warm.

But seeing this picture on Garance Dore has inspired me:While I don't think I will be donning different coloured socks anytime soon, I have been inspired to use socks more fashionably.
I have found adorable ones on topshop that I think would look adorable in summer, to brighten up an outfit with flats or even heels. To actually have socks that are seen and not hidden beneath long pants.
