Profound Beauty for the win... Updated
I am betting on Profound Beauty for the win today at the Melbourne Cup. With a name like that how could I resist. But all the horses are so beautiful, maybe if I make a few million I can own one one day :P

Who are you betting on?

Updated: Ok so my horse didn't win, does the horse I pick ever win? Why do I continue to bet on it every year. My "track" record isn't very good (excuse the pun)

Here is some of the "fashion" at the cup:Love this hat!!!Ummm... where do I begin?Candice Alley, oh dear. I love black I truly do. I wear it almost everyday, and sometimes only black. But this look I feel was too harsh, and due to the high neck makes it a bit "funeral". A bit depressing for a day filled with fun.Well done Jennifer Hawkins, finally an outfit of yours I like. The headpiece is lovely, and the dress is very elegant. Are we at the races or at the burlesque club down the road?God bless the men, I won't say anything as none of them really stood out in my opinion. Ms Wilkinson looks like a chook got stuck to her head, however I do like her little capped sleeve jacket and pearls.May I ask why she is wearing a weave skirt and holding her weave bag? Too much weave, and the pink hat is a bit too much with the statement skirt.I think Kate Waterhouse looks very nice and understated in a willow dress. The fascinator she is adorning should have been a hat, I feel as if something is missing. (would like to have a full length shot).Rebecca Twigley - Cute dress, but what is going on with the hat and clutch? I know everything doesn't have to match but bright orange with pastel's, I don't think so! (The hat is very cute though)
