The dancer in me has always been on a quiet search for a flapper dress ala 1920's style. But what I have found is they either look too cheap, or costumey. I have longed for a beaded flapper dress, but they are very hard to come by.

While shopping a few months back I came across a black flapper dress by Bardot, but on the neck was a sheer chiffon and on me didn't sit quite right.
However, while searching on the US French Connection site I came across these two flapper dresses, and just could imagine me having a dance or two in them. I am hoping they come to Australia for summer, or maybe i'll just have to order them online if my lemming gives me sleepless nights.
