It's not that I haven't heard of this designer before, or haven't liked previous collections... it's just my attention was really held in the Sex and the City movie when Carrie is doing the Vogue photo shoot in numerous designer wedding gowns.
As soon as the lace gown, drapped with pearls and around the waist a contrasted black sash appeared on the screen I was mesmorised. I wanted to know more about the designer Christian Lacroix.
Since seeing the movie I have been transfixed in the work of Misuere Lacroix. I have looked at past collections, and admired the craftmenship of each piece. So feminine, sexy, magical and so very French!
Christian Lacroix has made it into Monogramoflage's favourite designers list. A list which is getting longer, but still only the most deserving can join it.
Below is a picture that truly in my opinion is what haute couture photography should be. I can't stop staring at it, it's truly magical!
